Downtown Austin for KLRU-TV's 50th Birthday Street Party

Day 119

Nonna and Grandpa were in Austin this weekend

 and they brought Waylon back!

We sure did miss him, and it was great to see them too.

We enjoyed some patio dinning on Saturday afternoon 

and then I had mom's night out with a friend,

on East 6th, later that night.

Quincy welcomed Waylon back with a tea party, 

and even let him wear her favorite hat.

Needless to say, he was thrilled.

Hooray for Friday!

My company closed at 1 today, 

so I got some extra time with my girl!

We met our friends at Central Market for some

 playground sliding, turtle viewing, ice cream eating fun...

...all while enjoying the band.

Every time we go outside, Quincy sings, 

"Kitty where are you? Where are you, Kitty?"

This evening, Quincy and I had a mommy-daughter pizza date :)

Nice little Sunday...

We took Quincy to Kerby Lane this morning for some 

lemon, poppyseed pancakes.

And when I say morning,

 I mean 7am since she decided to wake up at 6:30am.

Luckily, Kerby Lane is open 24 hours.

After breakfast she helped mommy plant some flowers.

Quincy decided to wear her "fiesta" dress
for her school pictures today, naturally.
After school/work, we met Vida and Michelle
 for some fun at the Children's Museum
and then the daddies joined us all at G'Raj Mahal Cafe
for some Indian food!
Being that it's outdoor, and laid back atmosphere,
made it the perfect pick for the girls
 ...plus its BYOB!

Today at school, Quincy had an Easter Egg Hunt!

Daddy was able to leave the office for bit to join Quincy and take some pics-

He may not be the best photographer, but Quincy sure was happy to have her daddy there.

This afternoon, Mr. Nick asked Chad if we would please not send Quincy to school in these shoes anymore. Apparently, they don't stay on. I guess Mr. Nick doesn't understand the love we ladies have for our shoes. Quincy will have to enjoy her "princess" shoes on the weekends.
